Elliot Anderson has been outstanding for Nottingham Forest and his performances have attracted the attention of Manchester United and Newcastle United.

According to Football Insider, the midfielder’s transfer fee is likely to be around £70m when the transfer window reopens in January. It will be interesting to see whether either club is willing to pay that much for the England international.

Could Newcastle bring Elliott Anderson back to the club?

There is no doubt that Anderson is a good player in the Premier League and could play for a bigger club. A move to Manchester United or Newcastle United would be very exciting for him. If he joins the club, he will play in Europe with Newcastle.

Newcastle need more quality in the middle of the park and bringing Anderson back to the club would be a wise move. They will definitely regret the decision to let him go first. It will be interesting to see if they can convince him to come back.

Manchester United, on the other hand, lack control in the center of the park and defensive cover. Signing a 23-year-old would be a wise decision. He is still young enough to develop and could develop into a future star for the club. It remains to be seen whether they can afford to pay a premium for him and are prepared to spend £70m.

It has been a disappointing season for Manchester United, with just three wins from seven league games so far. They need quality players to bounce back. Signing Anderson would be a step in the right direction. He will be able to help them control the game better and improve in midfield.

Anderson has been described by manager Thomas Tuchel as a “very good” player.
