  • Liverpool ready to pay price for Minte

Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Yankuba Minte from Brighton to strengthen their attack line.

The 21-year-old has performed extremely well since joining the Seagulls, impressing in the Premier League with his technical ability and flair. He has been described as “the next big thing.”

Liverpool could use Yankuba Minte

Minte would be an exceptional signing as Liverpool could use more quality and depth in their attacking line-up. They missed out on someone who could take on defenders and create chances out of nothing. With the departure of Luis Dias, it has become more predictable what will happen to Liverpool.

They need a quality dribbler and Minte could be customized for them. The opportunity to join Liverpool would be very exciting for him. It would be a big step up in his career. Minte has one goal and two assists in league play this season.

According to a report from FootAfrica, Liverpool are willing to pay more than £100m to complete the deal. They recently spent similar amounts on Alexander Isak and Florian Wirtz.

It will be interesting to see if they are ready to spend big money again. There is no doubt that the Gambian is an outstanding young talent. He has the qualities to develop into a top-class attacker in the Premier League. Liverpool could develop him into a future star. Minte played under Arne Slott at Feyenoord and both sides could be keen to reunite.

Despite signing quality players this summer, Liverpool have had a disappointing start to the season. They need to bounce back strongly and the 21-year-old will definitely be able to help them improve in the future.

It seems unlikely that Brighton will allow him to leave anytime soon. They will want to keep him at the club for now. Liverpool may have to wait until the summer transfer window to finalize a deal. Manchester United and Arsenal are also interested in signing Minte.
