Liverpool have joined the race to sign River Plate winger Ian Subiabre.

The 18-year-old is highly regarded throughout South America and is currently considered one of the most promising young players in South American football. He recently agreed a new contract with River Plate, which includes a €100m release clause.

According to a report from El Intransigente, Liverpool have joined the race to sign him. They will also face competition from Chelsea, Manchester City and Arsenal.

Arsenal and Chelsea have been scouting Subiabre for several months.

The 18-year-old is a sought-after player, with several of Europe’s top clubs keeping an eye on his development. It will be interesting to see if Liverpool make a move to sign him. They are unlikely to pay €100m for a talented young winger and will be hoping to negotiate a reasonable contract for him.

They are looking to build a strong team for the future and signing the best young talent from around the world would be a wise decision.

Meanwhile, the opportunity to join the Premier League champions would also be very exciting for the South American player.

Liverpool have been successful in developing talented young players and the Argentine prodigy will aim to reach his full potential with Liverpool. They could provide him with a platform to regularly fight for trophies.

However, the winger will need to secure adequate guarantees before joining an English club. He should aim to join a team that has a clear plan for his development. For him to develop further, he will need opportunities to play in the first team.

Even though he may not become a regular starter for Liverpool right away, he could still become an important first-team player for Liverpool. It remains to be seen how the situation will develop.
