Liverpool have reportedly made an offer worth £65 million to Bournemouth for star forward Antoine Semenyo, who wants to join the Reds.

Journalist Indi Kaira has recently linked Semenyo with the Reds following the Ghanaian international’s phenomenal performances in the Premier League.

With six goals and three assists in his first 10 league games so far this season, Semenyo is one of the most in-form attacking players in Europe and it’s only a matter of time before he moves to a bigger club.

Bournemouth have notably let go of key players such as Dean Huyssen and Milos Kerkes this summer, so it is thought they could re-sign a top talent like Semenyo.

As you can see, LFC are said to have made an offer worth £65m to Bournemouth, and the 25-year-old is keen on a potential move.

However, nothing seems to have been finalized yet, with other clubs also interested and Bournemouth demanding he meet the terms of his contract.

How reliable is the relationship between Antoine Semenyo and Liverpool?

Indi Kaira hasn’t always been known as a very reliable person, but his reputation has greatly improved in recent months after garnering some big headlines over the summer.

He is currently one of the key figures driving the Semenyo/Liverpool narrative, but it’s probably a story that should be taken with a bit of a grain of salt as other outlets haven’t covered it in quite the same way.

There have been links to Semenyo from iNews in the past, but nothing as specific and sophisticated as the actual bid.

Only time will tell if this reporter is right, but of course it’s easy to imagine that Liverpool really like Semenyo and could bring him in to replace the aging and out-of-form Mohamed Salah.

However, it’s one thing to like a player and it’s quite another to go through the formal process of signing him, so let’s see how this story plays out as January approaches.
