Leeds United have been linked with making the unemployed manager their next manager as questions remain over Daniel Farke’s future, with a new update on the situation.
Los Blancos currently sit 16th in the Premier League, having lost four of their last five games, but pressure is mounting on Falke and Marco Rose, who are believed to be linked with his replacement.
Having said that, sky sportsManager Ginny Boswell recently denied rumors that Farke would be sacked anytime soon, but there are tough games ahead.
“Leeds have no plans to change their head coach despite growing dissatisfaction among supporters and after picking up 11 points from 11 Premier League games, the club and Farke feel the team is now on track to achieve its survival goal.”
“Leeds, who sit one point above the relegation zone, have the toughest schedule in the Premier League over the next five games, with Aston Villa, Chelsea and Liverpool visiting Elland Road and visits to Manchester City and Brentford, according to Opta. The fact that Farke is scheduled to take part in a broadcast interview next week is the strongest indication that he will be in the spotlight for at least some games, and while it is a daunting situation, internally the Elland Road factor is believed to be a reason for optimism. ”
Rodgers ‘available’ to replace Falke at Leeds
If you talk to me now, leeds united newsjournalist Graham Bailey discussed Brendan Rodgers as Leeds’ next manager, saying he could be a strong option to “put pressure” on Falke.
“Leeds are not ready to pull the plug. From what I’m hearing, they’re not where they want to be right now, but they’re fine at the moment. We haven’t performed that well at Forest and the club knows that, but we’re not panicking. Of course, with a manager like Brendan Rodgers, there’s pressure, but nothing has changed and nothing is imminent.”
Rodgers, 52, won the FA Cup with Leicester City in 2021 and led Celtic to four Scottish Premiership titles and other trophies, so there is plenty to praise as a manager if he becomes a real option for Leeds.
He is an attacking-minded manager known for playing excellent football in a 4-3-3 formation, and has extensive experience in the Premier League, entertaining the masses as he came close to winning the title with Liverpool in 2013-14, bringing out the best in the likes of Luis Suarez and Steven Gerrard.
However, it appears that the 49ers Enterprise is not in a hurry to make a decision on Coach Falke for the time being, but that could change if they struggle in the upcoming tough games.
