Chelsea have parted ways with Enzo Maresca, and Liam Rosenior is rumored to be on the move.
He has done an impressive job at Strasbourg and it will be interesting to see if Chelsea decide to bring him on as their new manager. Strasbourg are owned by BlueCo, the same company that owns Chelsea, so it would be very easy for the Premier League club to get on the line.
Chelsea could sign Emmanuel Emega
Meanwhile, a report from TEAMtalk claims that Rosenior and Emmanuel Emega could be reunited at Stamford Bridge this month. Chelsea are currently exploring the possibility of signing the 22-year-old striker in January, rather than waiting until the summer transfer window.
Liam Delap has not been able to get behind the goal on a regular basis and Chelsea are looking to improve the quality of their attacking line-up. Emega has been outstanding for Strasbourg, scoring seven goals in 11 games this season. He has excelled under Rosenior and will be able to make an immediate impact when he joins Chelsea.
Emega would be a great deal
The 22-year-old is a promising talent and was always expected to join Chelsea in the future. The Blues are currently working to bring this deal forward. It remains to be seen how the situation will develop.
Rosseniol is highly regarded as a manager, but his role at Chelsea is a huge challenge. He will need to make an immediate impact and help them finish the season on a strong note. Chelsea have been very poor in recent weeks. It remains to be seen whether they can bring in the right manager and turn things around in the coming weeks.
