Euro team swoops in for Newcastle ace in January, agrees £40,000-a-week deal

Newcastle United striker William Osula was close to leaving the club during the summer transfer window, but now it looks like he could end up leaving the club.

At the beginning of the season, there were rumors that he was almost set to move to Germany. However, Newcastle prevented him from leaving. There is a growing possibility that the player will be secured and left within this month.

Eintracht Frankfurt hope to secure his signature in a new transfer in January. According to BILD, the striker has already agreed a five-year contract worth around £40,000 a week. It will be interesting to see if the two clubs can finally reach an agreement.

Meanwhile, Florian Plettenberg has claimed that the German side are considering a loan deal with the Newcastle striker, with the option to make the move permanent at the end of the season. The players have already agreed to this move.

Newcastle have Nick Waltemaide and Yoan Wissa at their disposal. It would be ideal for them to sanction the 22-year-old Danish striker’s departure. At this stage of his career, he needs to play matches regularly. Sitting on the bench at Newcastle will not do him any favors. It remains to be seen whether they will be able to reach an agreement with the German company.

Newcastle could use the money they receive from his departure to strengthen their squad. They want to compete in Europe again next season and need to perform well in the second half of the season. They could bounce back strongly if they sign the right players this month.
