Bennetts, the title sponsor of the British Superbike Championship (BSB), has announced it will end its partnership with the series before the 2026 season. The year 2026 marks the 30th anniversary of BSB. Bennetts first became involved with the series in 2005 and took over as the main sponsor in 2018, replacing MCE, which had been the headline sponsor from 2009 to 2017.

On January 5, 2026, Bennetts shared a statement on social media confirming the insurance company’s decision to step back from title sponsorship after more than a decade of support. The message highlighted their pride in creating memorable experiences for fans and their dedication to bringing supporters closer to the racing action over hundreds of race weekends.

Despite stepping down as title sponsor, Bennetts expressed that their enthusiasm for racing remains strong and hinted they might still appear at races or events. They also extended gratitude to the MSV team, race officials, medical personnel, photographers, broadcasters, and racing teams they’ve collaborated with, wishing everyone a safe and successful upcoming season.

In addition to this announcement, BSB has refreshed its online look with a new blue color scheme and a “BSB 30” logo to celebrate its milestone anniversary. The 2026 season is set to begin from May 1-3 at Oulton Park, with pre-season testing scheduled at Donington on April 3-4.

Fan Take: Bennetts’ departure as title sponsor is a significant shift for the British Superbike Championship, symbolizing the end of an era. For racing fans, this transition opens exciting opportunities for new partnerships and innovations that could bring fresh energy and growth to the sport.
