Bryson DeChambeau, Jon Rahm and Cameron Smith have all committed to play with LIV Golf in the 2026 season following Jon Rahm’s departure. Brooks Koepka joins the PGA Tour. Speaking at LIV Golf’s media week in South Florida, DeChambeau said he is under contract for next season, but Rahm and Smith said they are not going anywhere.

“I’m really looking forward to this year because I’m under contract through 2026,” DeChambeau said.

“Yeah, it’s a very similar answer to the one Bryson gave because it’s not going anywhere,” Rahm said. “I wish Brooks the best of luck. As far as I’m concerned, I’m focused on LIV this year and hope the team can win again as champions.”

Meanwhile, Smith told Golf Digest’s Evin Priest, “I made the decision to come here and I stand by it.”

On Monday, the PGA Tour announced the creation of a Returning Member Program for four members of LIV Golf: Koepka, Rahm, DeChambeau and Smith. Under the Return to PGA Tour pathway, players who won a major championship or Players Championship from 2022 to 2025 would be allowed to play on the PGA Tour in 2026. The transfer window opens on Monday and ends on February 2, two days before LIV Golf’s first tournament of the 2026 season.

Koepka mutually parted ways with LIV Golf on December 23, 2025, citing a desire to spend more time with his family. The five-time major champion has applied for reinstatement of his PGA Tour membership and will use this newly created mechanism to return in 2026, making his first start at the Farmers Insurance Open at the end of January.

DeChambeau and Smith have both been with LIV Golf since the summer of 2022, while Rahm came to the league in early 2024. Since then, Rahm has won individual championships in two consecutive seasons, and his Region XIII team also won the team title in 2025. In 2024, Smith’s Ripper GC won the team competition, and the year before that, DeChambeau’s Crushers hoisted the trophy.

LIV Golf will move to 72 holes for the first time in league history in the 2026 season in hopes of relaxing the Official World Golf Ranking where players can earn points. The league recently reapplied for that purpose. The season begins on February 4th, with the circuit moving to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
