Leeds United attacker Joe Gerhart is currently on loan at Hull City and is expected to leave the club permanently in the summer.

According to TEAMtalk, the Tigers are aiming to sign him permanently, with Leeds United prepared to let him leave for a transfer fee of around £3m-5m. The 23-year-old has no future for them and it would make sense for the Premier League club to sell him on a permanent basis.

Joe Gerhart needs to move on.

Meanwhile, the player also wants to sort out his long-term future and focus on his own football. He performed very well for the Tigers during his loan spell with the Tigers and joining them permanently would be ideal for him. The 23-year-old needs to play regularly to reach his full potential. It would not make sense for him to return to Leeds United, especially if he is unlikely to get a chance there.

It will be interesting to see whether Hull City are willing to pay the asking price for a talented striker. He could be a long-term asset for them and would easily justify investing in them for the future. It could be a worthwhile deal for them. The 23-year-old has scored 11 goals in the Championship this season.

Meanwhile, Leeds also need to consider signing a quality striker at the end of the season. Selling fringe players helps raise money for their own contracts. They are currently competing to remain in the Premier League, and it will be interesting to see if they can survive. They have a talented squad and will be desperate to establish themselves as Premier League regulars.
