2026 Arnold Palmer Invitational Purse, Prize Money, Payment to Akshay Bhatia, Field

This week, the third marquee event of the PGA Tour season concluded at Bay Hill Club & Lodge with the 2026 Arnold Palmer Invitational at King’s Ransom. The event, which welcomed 72 players to Arnie’s Place, awarded $20 million in prize money, of which $4 million was reserved for Akshay Bhatia, who topped the leaderboard.

Batia won his first major tournament and his third on the PGA Tour, becoming only the eighth player in history to win his first three playoff tournaments.

Unlike other major events, not all players at the Arnold Palmer Invitational were guaranteed a paycheck, as they were limited to being tied for the top 50 players after 36 holes (even those within 10 strokes of the leader). Rory McIlroy wasn’t among them.withdrew on Saturday due to back spasms. (McIlroy is expected to be healthy enough to participate in The Players next week.)

Even after Bhatia’s payday, he continued his record winning 11 different signature events. All players in the top 11 this week will earn more than $500,000, and all players in the top 24 will clear at least $200,000.

The Arnold Palmer Invitational, like the Genesis Invitational and Memorial, is designated as a player-sponsored invitational, so the winner’s share is slightly higher than what would be distributed at the featured event.

Previous 2026 Signature Event winners include:

  • Pebble Beach Pro-Am: Collin Morikawa ($3.6 million)
  • Genesis Invitational: Jacob Bridgman ($4 million)
  • Arnold Palmer Invitation: Akshay Bhatia ($4 million)

Let’s take a look at the complete breakdown of how much each finishing spot earned at the 2026 Arnold Palmer Invitational.
