Manchester United are willing to start negotiations for 45 million euros, but are willing to pay 60 million euros to sign the Italian, according to reports from football transfer sources. However, it will be difficult to sign him. Inter Milan value him highly and don’t want to lose him. They are trying to offer him a contract extension.

It remains to be seen whether the defender is ready to commit his long-term future to the club. His contract runs until 2027, and they are considering an extension until 2030. If he decides to sign a new contract with the Italian club, it will be impossible for Manchester United to do so.

Manchester United’s best bet would be to convince the player to decline a contract extension with the Italian club and move to England. If he decides to force his way out, the Italian team will be under pressure to sanction his departure.

€60 million is a lot of money for a player whose contract expires in 2027, but it remains to be seen how things will turn out.

Manchester United could use a complete full-back like him who can contribute at both ends of the pitch. The 28-year-old would be a great acquisition for them. He is at the peak of his career and could make an immediate impact.
