Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United are all interested in signing Murillo from Nottingham Forest in the summer.

According to a report from Team Talk, Liverpool have scouted him extensively and are willing to offer €80 million to sign him. The paper also claims that it is “very likely” that the Brazilian will leave the club in the summer.

The 23-year-old wants to compete at a high level and joining Liverpool could be exciting for him. Murillo has also been linked with a move to Chelsea.

Arsenal and Manchester United sign Murillo

Arsenal are also rumored to be signing the player, but it may be difficult to include him in the starting lineup. They already have enough personnel in their defensive unit.

Manchester United, on the other hand, could certainly use more quality players at the back and the Brazilian would be a great addition. He could be the ideal long-term successor to Harry Maguire. The 23-year-old has been a reliable performer in the Premier League and has the quality to improve both Liverpool and Manchester United. It would be difficult for a young defender to turn down the opportunity to join them.

Nottingham Forest would not want to lose a player of his quality, but an offer of €80m (about £70m) would be difficult to turn down. The Brazilian could also turn his back if a concrete offer from a club like Liverpool is on the table.

Liverpool could use Murillo

Liverpool have looked vulnerable at the back this season and need to improve defensively. Signing a Brazilian player would be ideal for them. He could replace Ibrahima Konate, who becomes a free agent this summer.

It remains to be seen which of the three clubs could win the race to sign him. The defender is likely to want to join a club where he can compete regularly for trophies and play every week.
