Cristian Mosquera is linked with a move from Arsenal at the end of the season.

The Spanish defender joined Arsenal at the start of the season but struggled to gain regular minutes. He needs to play more often at this stage of his career and could be on loan in the summer. Mosquera has previously expressed his desire to return to Valencia.

Arsenal ready to release Cristian Mosquera on loan

According to Sportsboom, Arsenal management are looking for a suitable move for the young defender to give him regular minutes and continue his development. Everton are interested in acquiring his signature and it remains to be seen how things will turn out.

On the other hand, they would not be opposed to selling the player on a permanent basis. However, they will demand around 50 million euros to sell the player. It remains to be seen how the situation will develop. The player is highly regarded at the north London club and manager Mikel Arteta believes he could be the ideal long-term replacement for Gabriel Magalhães.

It may not be a wise decision to permanently release a talented young defender like him. Arsenal should consider letting him go on loan so he can continue to develop and get regular chances. Mosquera has all the tools to develop into a top-class defender in the Premier League. He impressed during his cameo appearance at Arsenal.
