Milton Delgado is likely to leave Boca Juniors at the end of the season.
Sports Boom reports that the 20-year-old box-to-box midfielder is a target for Premier League clubs Leeds United, Everton and Crystal Palace.
Leeds are currently fighting for survival in the Premier League, but they need to add more quality to their squad if they want to cement their place as regulars in the top flight. They need more fight and resilience in the middle of the park and the 20-year-old could be the ideal long-term signing for them. In addition to his ability to control the tempo of the game, he will add physicality to the team.
Similarly, Everton need more motivation and creativity in the middle of the park. They need someone who can support James Garner. The 20-year-old South American could be a solid investment for them. Regular football at Everton could bring out the best in Delgado.
Meanwhile, Crystal Palace are also monitoring his situation closely. It remains to be seen whether they decide to make a formal offer to seal the deal.
The South American has the technical qualities to succeed in the Premier League and could be an important player for Crystal Palace. He could form a solid partnership with Adam Wharton. Delgado has been described as a “very smart” player.
The opportunity to move to England is an exciting one for the Argentine and he will be looking to join a club where he can play regularly. Regular exposure in the Premier League could help him improve and fulfill his potential.
