There’s no time to cure a bad hangover, so open up a Gatorade and get moving. A busy period on the PGA Tour calendar gets even busier this week. The fourth of eight signature events for the 2026 RBC Heritage will be held at the newly restored Harbor Town Golf Links.

An additional 30 yards were added to the official scorecard, and some trees were added around Nos. 10 and 16 to make the already narrow golf course even more claustrophobic. The restoration, led by Davis Love III, included detailing Harbor Town, including replacing bulkheads and defining green and bunker edges.

Those watching at home may not notice the change without a keen eye, but the players, with world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler headlining the field, will no doubt notice the change. In addition to those who have qualified for this season’s signature event, the RBC Heritage field also includes the 2025 winner since the Sentry was not held in early January.

Schaeffler arrives Bogey-free weekend at Augusta National He is aiming for his second tournament title in the past three years. But he’s not the only former champion trending, as Matt Fitzpatrick won the winner’s circle at the Valspar Championship and Jordan Spieth finished tied for 12th at the Masters.

The next step for Spieth will be to enter himself into weekend contention after missing a late weekend tee time for some time. Defending champion Justin Thomas continues to make good progress towards his return from injury. The two-time major champion finished in the rankings three times in a row, including a top-10 finish at the Players Championship.

The RBC Heritage is the first of three signature events between the Masters and the PGA Championship. Next up is the Cadillac Championship at Trump National Doral and the Tourist Championship at Quail Hollow, which means attending the events is paramount to making critical preparations.

RBC Heritage will be an excellent off-speed pitch compared to venue-based pitches. Harbor Town, which requires precision and sharp thinking rather than strength, will welcome eight of the world’s top 10 athletes this week in what should be a world-class event.

Odds from FanDuel Sportsbook

  • Scotty Scheffler (9/2): The world number one ended his streak of three consecutive finishes outside the top 10 with his runner-up finish at the Masters. While many will focus on the world No. 1’s improved iron play and driving accuracy upon his return, his routine and preparation cannot be overlooked. A man who rarely tinkers worked with various screwdrivers and welcomed his second child into the world. weekend masters We revived Schaeffler with pride. About preparation and being a creature of habit. A wonderful summer awaits.
  • Xander Schauffele (15-1)
  • Matt Fitzpatrick (16-1): The Englishman was one of the popular picks for the Masters, but never made it out of the blocks. Fitzpatrick played on the back foot and was unable to contest. He has now returned to the happy hunting grounds he has visited since childhood. He won here a few years ago and in Innisbrook a few weeks ago and remains one of the hottest players in the field.
  • Cameron Young (16-1): Speaking of hot! Young now has three consecutive podium finishes, coming off close calls at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and the Masters, winning the Players Championship. Everything is going well for him so far, but lately his play has not reflected on this golf course. Since finishing T3 in 2022, Young hasn’t finished inside the top 50 in three attempts. I think things will change this week.
  • Russell Henry (18-1): A few more inches and Henry might have won the Masters. The Georgia Bulldogs finished T3 at Augusta National and their iron play was outstanding, especially on Sunday as they accessed hole locations with long and middle irons. Havertown is a perfect fit on paper, so his lack of pop shouldn’t hinder his chances this week. His recent string of finishes suggests as much as he has four top-20 finishes in his last five outings.
  • Tommy Fleetwood (20-1)
  • Ludwig Oberg (22-1)
  • Patrick Cantlay (22-1)
  • Collin Morikawa (25-1): Despite being in pain for most of the week, Morikawa mustered courage and competition to achieve a T7 finish at the Masters. He’s remained in the field for now, which is a bit of a shock, but if the putter is anything like it was last weekend, he could still run the table, if not 100%. In Morikawa’s six trips to Harbor Town, he has finished in the top 10 twice and finished outside the top 25 four times.
  • Jordan Spieth (30-1)
  • Kim Si Woo (30-1)
