The Gunners have had problems up front this season, with summer signing Victor Goqueres largely disappointing, and Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus spending a lot of time injured.
Crupi, meanwhile, appears to have caught the eye of Arteta this season, scoring both at home and away against Arsenal in the Premier League.
That’s according to talkSPORT journalist Alex Crook in the video below…
Speaking about Crupi’s future, Crook revealed that Arteta has his eye firmly on the Frenchman, but he probably won’t come cheap as he doesn’t have a release clause in his contract like Dean Huyssen and Antoine Semenyo, who were recently sold by the Cherries.

Arsenal join Eli Junior Crupi transfer race but not alone
A number of top clubs, including Arsenal, are now reportedly pursuing Crupi this summer, with the talented 19-year-old scoring an impressive 11 goals in 29 league games.
The latest information was that Liverpool and Chelsea were the most interested in Crupi, but the list of suitors now appears to be growing.
The above report links Crupi with Arsenal, but as Sasha Tavolieri said in his column for Sky, it appears Manchester City have also been in contact.
If Crupi were to leave Bournemouth, he would likely choose a top club, but it will be interesting to see if anyone comes along with an offer big enough.
On the other hand, this is not the easiest choice for the player as he needs to be able to continue playing regularly as it would be a waste to stagnate his development after showing great promise in the Premier League this season.
