Liverpool need players like Matheus Fernandes
It’s no secret that they need a combative midfielder in the middle of the park. He is a hard-working player who will contribute defensively and give the team control and calmness. It remains to be seen whether Liverpool will decide on a move in the coming weeks.
Former Liverpool star Jan Molby believes he will be an exceptional signing for the club.
Molby said: “I think he’s an extraordinary player, and I mean an extraordinary player. Whatever happens, that kid is not going to stay at West Ham.”
“He has it all. He is mobile and technically very good. He reminds me a bit of the two Portuguese midfielders who ran and dominated at PSG. This kid is the real deal.”

Anfield move could tempt Fernandes
There is no doubt that Fernandes would be attracted to the idea of joining Liverpool. It will be a big opportunity for him and he will be playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world.
West Ham are fighting for survival in the Premier League and the 21-year-old looks to be ahead of them. He deserves to compete at a higher level and a move to a club at Champions League level would be ideal for him.
Playing regular football for Liverpool will accelerate his development and help him reach his potential. It remains to be seen whether Liverpool can secure a deal from West Ham in the summer. The Hammers do not want to lose him so easily and could demand a hefty fee.
