Fenerbahce want to sign Andrew Robertson
According to a report by Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu, the player’s agent recently flew to Istanbul to negotiate a transfer with a Turkish club. The player has been offered an offer and Robertson has reportedly considered it.
However, negotiations are currently stalled as presidential elections are scheduled for the first week of June. It appears that transfers may be suspended until then. In that case, Robertson is expected to choose another player. It is highly unlikely that he will wait until June to don the Turkish costume.
“Fenerbahçe have brought Andrew Robertson’s agent to Istanbul. A verbal offer has been made. The player is considering the offer, but negotiations were halted once the election decision was taken,” Sabuncuoglu wrote in X.

Where will Robertson end up?
The Scottish defender has also been linked with English clubs such as Tottenham Hotspur. It will be interesting to see where he ends up. The 32-year-old has been a reliable defender for Liverpool for many years and has the quality to compete at a high level. He could be a quality short-term acquisition for the right team.
Although he is in the twilight of his career, he has the potential to be a very good free agent, mainly due to his leadership qualities and winning experience. Where he ends up remains to be seen.
