Milan set asking price for Youssuf Fofana

Milan paid 25 million euros to sign him and will aim to recoup that amount in the summer. The asking price is affordable for clubs like Aston Villa and Tottenham. It will be interesting to see if they are prepared to pay.

They need more physicality and defensive cover in the middle of the park. Fofana will help his team win the ball back and break down the opposition’s attack.

He has shown his quality for club and country and now is the perfect time for him to move to the Premier League. He has the physical and technical characteristics to suit English football. He could establish himself as a key player for Aston Villa or Tottenham.

Where will Fofana end up?

It will be interesting to see where he ends up. The West Midlands club could qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League, which could make them an attractive transfer destination for the midfielder. Meanwhile, Tottenham are fighting to remain in the Premier League. Even if they stay, they won’t be competing in Europe next year.

Whoever signs the 27-year-old midfielder will get a very useful player at a reasonable price.
