Manchester City were extremely lucky in their 3-0 win over Brentford in the Premier League today, even though it looked like the visitors had been denied a clear penalty with the score still 1-0.

Man City’s title hopes would have all but ended if Brentford had tied the game and stayed that way, but they are now just two points behind Arsenal.

If the Gunners win against West Ham tomorrow they could extend their lead at the top of the table again, and there is no doubt there are still games left that look easier than City.

Arsenal and Man City’s title race is close

The race for the title will be close, with only two points separating the two, and we may have to wait until the final day to find out who will finish as champion.

Arsenal play away to West Ham, home to Burnley and away to Crystal Palace, but tomorrow’s game at the London Stadium looks to be the trickiest of the final few games.

City, on the other hand, are home to Palace, away to Bournemouth and home to Aston Villa.

Pep Guardiola’s side were at one point six points behind, but have recently closed the gap after defeating Arsenal 2-1 a few weeks ago.

However, they lost momentum again in a 3-3 draw away to Everton, but they regained their form today.

Meanwhile, Arsenal will head to West Ham tomorrow with confidence after beating Atletico Madrid in midweek to reach the Champions League final.
