Just a few weeks ago, there were major concerns that Arsenal’s campaign was going to go awry.

Prior to the match against Fulham, the winger was struggling with form and fitness, in particular scoring just two goals between the beginning of December and the end of April.

That said, the most surprising and joyous comeback came a little further than Lewis Skelly.

Like Zinchenko, he seemed to be crying and trying to leave. He was removed from the team and his condition deteriorated.
But the Belgian international fought off doubters in the same way as Gokeres. Suddenly he looked like an important player again, with Arsenal potentially winning two titles.

It was Trossard who scored the vital goal that took Arsenal two games closer to winning the title. What makes this mini-run form even more impressive is the accomplishments so far. Before scoring at the London Stadium, the £27m signing from Brighton had not scored a single goal in 2026. In fact, his life was so barren that he could not beat the goalkeeper in 25 games.
Well, like his colleagues in the right attack, Trossard is back and has become a force to be reckoned with. There is no chance that Arteta will select Gabriel Martinelli ahead of him for the remainder of the season.
Considering numbers like Zinchenko and Jesus, it’s quite a career resurgence.
