Morgan Gibbs-White is rumored to be set to leave Nottingham Forest at the end of the season.
The 26-year-old has been outstanding in the Premier League. TeamTalk reports that Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are keen to sign the English playmaker.
However, he could end up staying at Nottingham Forest. The player is not pursuing a move away from the club at this time and has only recently signed a long-term contract with the club.
Nottingham Forest also don’t want to lose players. Elliott Anderson has already been linked with a move away from the club, and it appears Nottingham Forest may choose to sell him rather than Gibbs-White.
Manchester United have been overly reliant on Bruno Fernandes for goals and creativity from midfield onwards. They could certainly use more depth in that area of the pitch.
The 26-year-old Nottingham Forest star could be the ideal signing for them. He can play centrally or on the flanks. He will score goals and create chances for his teammates. No wonder Manchester United are interested in him.
Tottenham, on the other hand, could also use more goals from midfield. They were heavily linked with the move of Morgan Gibbs-White even before he signed a long-term deal with Nottingham Forest. However, they were unable to close the deal. It remains to be seen whether they will decide to transfer in the summer.
It has been a disappointing season for them and they need quality players to bounce back. The 26-year-old could make a huge difference to the team going forward. The midfielder has 16 goals and seven assists this season.
