Australia’s Adam Scott will officially play in his 100th consecutive major at June’s US Open after officials confirmed 35 exempt players on Monday.

That includes 24 players in the top 60 in the world rankings as of Monday, a group that also includes No. 49 Scott.

Scott made his 100th career and 99th consecutive appearance in a major at last week’s PGA Championship, and is poised to tie icon Jack Nicklaus as the only players to play in more than 100 consecutive majors — Nicklaus played 146 consecutive times from the 1962 Masters to the 1998 U.S. Open.

Scott’s winning streak began at the 2001 British Open and includes a Masters victory in 2013.

Other exclusions confirmed on Monday included 2015 U.S. Open champion Jordan Spieth, who finished 2025 at No. 80 in the world rankings but rose to No. 47.

Since departing the independent LIV Golf Circuit, former Masters Champion Patrick Reed has climbed his world rankings to No. 21 in the world thanks to his success on the DP World Tour and is set to play in his 12th consecutive US Open.

Norway’s Christopher Reitan will play his first US Open as a professional at Sinek Hills in Southampton, New York, after his victory at Quail Hollow.

As an amateur, Reitan qualified for the 2018 U.S. Open at Shinnecock.

Alex Smalley moved up 36 spots in the rankings with a share of second place at the PGA Championship and will be making his second U.S. Open start, the first being at Erin Hills in 2017.
