Manchester United are interested in signing Atalanta midfielder Ederson dos Santos in the summer transfer window.

The 26-year-old Brazilian is a key player for the Italian club. Manchester United need more creativity, control and defensive cover in the middle of the park. The Brazilian is a perfect central midfielder and could be an asset to the team. He could form a solid partnership with Koby Mainu.

According to journalist Michele Cristiello, Manchester United have reached an agreement on all aspects with the Italian club and the deal is almost complete. They will pay the Brazilian 48 million euros plus 5 million euros in bonuses.

The opportunity to play in the Premier League is exciting for the South American player, who is keen to make a name for himself in England. Manchester United are one of the biggest clubs in the world and he will aim to win big trophies with them.

Manchester United continued to perform well this season and qualified for the Champions League. They are aiming to win a major trophy next year and need quality players at their disposal. Ederson could make a big difference for them in the middle of the park. If they can support him with quality defensive midfielders, there’s no reason why Manchester United can’t thrive in the middle of the park next year.

The midfielder has scored 16 goals during his time at the Italian club and will likely contribute at both ends of the park for Manchester United.

While the investment may seem expensive at the moment, the 26-year-old has reached the peak of his ability and could justify the investment in future seasons.
