Luciano Spalletti wants Mohamed Salah to reunite with Juventus
The two worked together at Roma, with Spalletti transforming the Egyptian winger into one of Europe’s most feared attackers and ultimately helping propel Salah to global superstar status at Liverpool.
Now that Salah has left Anfield after nine trophy-winning years, Spalletti sees a golden opportunity.
According to La Repubblica, the Juventus manager considers the 33-year-old the ideal figurehead for his new team, a proven match-winner and someone who can quickly take the club to the top of Italian football.
Juventus also wants Andy Robertson and Alisson Becker
Salah is not the only Liverpool player to attract Juventus’ attention. The Turin giants are also understood to be monitoring left-back Andy Robertson, who also left Anfield after nine years.
Goalkeeper Alisson Becker is also wanted by the Turin giants, but according to an update from Romano, Liverpool have informed the goalkeeper:
The potential arrival of several Anfield heavyweights represents a bold and ambitious statement of intent from Juventus, and suggests Spalletti is determined to quickly build a squad capable of challenging Napoli and Inter Milan for Serie A honors and advancing further into European competition.
Lack of Champions League football could be a hindrance
Despite their appeal to reunite with Spalletti, Juventus face a major obstacle in their bid to sign Salah – the absence of Champions League football.

The Turin club finished outside the top four in Serie A this season, meaning they will miss out on Europe’s top club competition next term.
For a player of Salah’s stature and ambition, that could be a significant deterrent. Widely regarded as one of the greatest players of his generation, the Egyptian winger will have no shortage of suitors from clubs competing at Europe’s highest level.
Juventus will need to offer Salah an attractive sporting project and a significant financial package to convince him that Turin is the right destination for the next chapter of his illustrious career.
