Liverpool have announced the appointment of Andoni Iraola as their new manager on a two-year contract.

The 43-year-old Spanish manager has done an exceptional job at Bournemouth, helping them secure European football for the upcoming season. He was called up to replace Arne Slott after a disappointing season.

Despite spending a lot of money last summer, Liverpool finished fifth in the Premier League table. The Dutch national team coach was heavily criticized last season for his lack of identity and style of play. He was also criticized for his treatment of young players. Slott seemed uninterested in working with Liverpool’s young players and gave them few chances.

Liverpool’s new manager, Iraola, has already shown a desire to invest in young players and has promised to work closely with them during pre-season.

He told the LFC official website: “There will also be a World Cup, so there will be a chance to work with the younger players in particular. A lot of senior players will be out or arriving late for the World Cup, so there will be an opportunity to get to know more about the academy players and players who have been on loan. I think they’re going to be a big part of the first part of the preseason, the American tour. And I think it’s going to work out really well if you think about it that way, because you’ll have a lot of information before you actually make a decision before you start the season. ”

Liverpool have several talented young players and they don’t want to lose them in the coming months. Getting the best out of young players could help build a strong team for the future.

Iraola’s comments about young players have already shown that he is better suited than Slott to manage Liverpool. Liverpool have always been successful in turning talented young players into stars, but that hasn’t been the case under Slott. They will now aim to properly develop the club’s young talent and re-establish a pathway from the academy to the first team.
