Legion Hoops shared the clip after James posted a shot from a weekend round of golf to his Instagram Story.

Setup couldn’t be easier. James had to heave the ball over the bunker, land it softly, and watch it trace its trajectory toward the hole to get the birdie.

His reaction after it went down said it all. LeBron shouted in disbelief and celebrated the shot, looking as if he had just unleashed a new part of his athletic obsession.

It’s unclear whether he will return to the Lakers, retire, or pursue a new destination. Golden State has also been mentioned in speculation due to the longtime dream of pairing LeBron and Curry.

But for now, the clearest picture is simple. LeBron has racked up some crazy birdie chips this offseason and clearly enjoys the competitive nature that still drives him.
