Liverpool could sanction Alexis Mac Allister’s departure during the summer transfer window.
The Argentina international wasn’t at his best last season, but they could consider signing him if they receive a suitable offer. According to Football Insider, Real Madrid are interested in signing the 2022 World Cup winner.
Pete O’Rourke claimed: “Liverpool will have to shop around the market this summer to raise money to increase their transfer fee.”
“Mac Allister is a player they can begrudgingly cash in on. He’s still got plenty of value and he’s a World Cup winner, so if he can get into the World Cup again this month and do well, obviously other teams could be at the same table.”
“Liverpool are currently looking to strengthen rather than weaken their team, but if they do need to sell players, Mac Allister could be one of the players they could sacrifice.”
Furthermore, it has been reported that Liverpool have already identified potential replacements for Adam Wharton. The 22-year-old Crystal Palace star is a top target for Liverpool, who want to sign him. They need to raise funds to sign the player, and selling the South American midfielder could help seal the deal.
Mac Allister has been a key player for Liverpool since joining, helping them win the Premier League title last season. This summer could be the ideal opportunity for him to take on a new challenge, and a move to Real Madrid would be an exciting one.
It will be interesting to see if the Spanish team makes an acceptable offer for the player. The midfielder is currently away on World Cup duty, but Liverpool will be hoping he has a great tournament so they can earn a premium for his departure.
The midfielder is at the peak of his career and could help Real Madrid in midfield. The Spanish team struggled to control games and create chances from midfield last season. Mac Allister adds control, creativity, and technical ability to your team.
He has proven his quality in the Premier League and at international level. There is no doubt that he has the quality to play well in La Liga.
