Arsenal are interested in signing PSG winger Bradley Barcola in the summer transfer window.

According to a report in the Independent, they are preparing an offer to sign the 23-year-old France international. The player is currently on tour with France and a transfer may have to wait until after the World Cup.

Barcola struggled to get regular minutes for PSG last season and would need to leave the team in order to play more often.

Meanwhile, Mikel Arteta is keen to strengthen his attacking team. Arsenal are considering signing a number of attacking players this summer, including Julian Alvarez and Morgan Rodgers. It will be interesting to see if Arsenal can get a deal done.

They will face competition from Liverpool for Barcola. The 23-year-old French attacker could be a great long-term signing for both clubs. He will bring speed, flair and goals to the team.

Despite not playing regularly, he contributed 20 goals for PSG last season. He scored a happy goal for France against Senegal in the World Cup. There is no doubt that he has the technical qualities to be suitable for Premier League football and the opportunity to move to England would be an exciting one for him. He aims to play regularly and compete at a high level. Arsenal and Liverpool could offer him that platform.

It remains to be seen whether PSG are prepared to allow him to leave.

At 23, he is still very young and will only improve with regular opportunities. He could develop into a star for Arsenal or Liverpool.

Liverpool need more quality in their side, especially after the departure of Mohamed Salah. There is also a possibility that Kodi Gakpo may leave the club.
