Why Diomande is a better talent than Ngmoha for Liverpool
Anfield will need summer reinforcements, but there is no denying there is still plenty of talent in the senior ranks, with teenager Rio Ngmoha potentially playing a big role under Iraola.
The 17-year-old made his breakthrough on Merseyside last time out, making 19 league appearances and managing to find the back of the net twice.
His shots against Newcastle United and Fulham showed his quality in attacking areas, but there is no denying that he will get even better as he matures as a footballer.
The youngster’s impressive form has not gone unnoticed by others, as manager Thomas Tuchel included him in England’s squad for the pre-World Cup training campaign.
His age may be a concern for many, but Iraola will have to manage the expectations placed on an attacker to continue his rapid development at Anfield.

The aforementioned record is higher than that set by the Liverpool teenager, who often had fans on the edge of their seats with his fearless and persistent attacking attempts.
It wasn’t just here that the RB Leipzig star was able to dominate, as his 12 goals in the league showed, and he was also able to put the finishing touches on his wanderings.
That figure is six times that of the England superstar, perhaps making a £100m transfer target a more comprehensive current option for Iraola.
Diomande also managed to create more chances for his team-mates per 90 points, and subsequently enabled the players around him to further increase their own goalscoring numbers at Anfield.
There’s no denying that Ngmoha is a very exciting prospect and one who will undoubtedly become a regular starter on Merseyside in the future.
