The final marquee event of the 2026 PGA Tour season is here. The Travelers Championship, held at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut, features the game’s best players competing for the final $20 million prize of the regular season.
TPC River Highlands offers a friendlier venue for weary golfers who have just braved the challenges of Shinnecock Hills for the U.S. Open. Scottie Scheffler finished in the top five again at the U.S. Open and once again enters as a heavy favorite (+450, per DraftKings Sportsbook), but the world No. 1 continues to look close. This year, it’s a little different from the mainstream. We have come to expect it in recent years.
Rory McIlroy is not in attendance, but the rest of the top players are in attendance as headliners, including Xander Schauffele, Cameron Young, Matt Fitzpatrick, Ludwig Oberg and last year’s runner-up Tommy Fleetwood. Keegan Bradley, the man who surprised Fleetwood late last Sunday, will look to defend his title in what is effectively a home game for the New England native. And then there’s Windham Clark, who just won his second U.S. Open and looks to continue his incredible recent play.
After a week in which players hung on for four days under incredibly tough conditions at Shinnecock, the challenge this week will be to rack up birdies in the friendly confines of TPC River Highlands. Here’s how to watch all the action from the final signature event of the season throughout the weekend. Be sure to check out the preview on CBS Sports. Travelers Championship predictions.
