England secured a place in their World Cup group with an important win against Panama.
The first half was poor for the Three Lions, similar to their performance against Ghana.
However, Jude Bellingham turned the game around in the second half with a goal and an assist, helping England top the group.

England vs Panama player ratings
Jordan Pickford – 7
The comfortable long stretches of the night were mostly fine, but Pickford made solid money when it mattered.
After a Panama counter-attack threatened to take the lead, he did well to deny Jose Luis Rodríguez’s shot and showed sharp reflexes when England’s defense was momentarily exposed.
Jarrell Quansah – 6
Quansah was making his first appearance in the tournament as Reece James was absent due to injury.
The former Liverpool man started at right-back and had a decent game, although there were moments when he looked nervous.
He was booked for serious foul play in the 60th minute. However, the night did not end well for him as he was sent off injured and replaced by Jed Spence.
Marc Gehi – 8
Manchester City’s centre-back was a giant at the back. Organized, calm, and a force to be reckoned with in the air, Guehi was one of England’s standout performers throughout the group stage.
They led the last line with intelligence and firmly contained Panama’s physical threat. His best performance of the tournament.
Ezri Konsa – 6
Konsa lost his balance several times during Panama’s counter-attacks, but finished the game strong and contributed to his team’s clean sheet.
Nico O’Reilly – 6
The Manchester City man showed yet another solid performance. He provided width on the left and moved forward with purpose from start to finish.
Saka and Rashford were pushing the ball wide, but O’Reilly’s underlapping run gave England an extra dimension. With each match, he is growing in preparation for this tournament.
Elliott Anderson – 7.5
The Nottingham Forest midfielder had a solid rather than eye-catching night. He made good shifts without the ball and helped England thwart Panama’s attempts to break forward. The platform he and Rodgers provided allowed Bellingham to roam freely, which proved crucial.
Morgan Rogers – 7
Rodgers was given a starting role in place of the rested Declan Rice, and did enough to justify Tuchel’s faith in him.
Hard-working and energetic, he covered the ground effectively and helped England maintain their press. It didn’t make the headlines, but it literally did its job.
Jude Bellingham – 9 | Man of the Match
Real Madrid’s superstar has revealed himself on the grandest stage. Bellingham scored to make it 1-0 and assisted on Kane’s second header. This made him, at 22 years and 363 days old, the youngest English player since 1966 to both score and assist in a World Cup match.
He took over the game in the second half and did some great work down the left before whipping in a cross for Kane to slot home.
After a disappointing draw with Ghana, this was the Bellingham the world had been waiting for. electricity.

Bukayo Saka – 6
He won a lot of the ball in the first half, but the Arsenal star couldn’t do much with it.
The second half was better. They combined clever coordination with direct running, but were unlucky not to add to their own goals. As Tuchel has said, his fitness is crucial to how far England’s team can go.
Marcus Rashford – 7
Like Saka, he saw plenty of the ball in the first half and was England’s brightest player in the first 45 minutes.
The second half was relatively quiet, but it was his long ball that set Bellingham free and set up Kane’s second goal.
Harry Kane – 8
The captain stepped on base at the critical moment. Kane made no mistake with a stunning header from close range to double England’s lead and in the process become England’s all-time leading scorer at a World Cup.
Great job from Bellingham catching Rashford’s long ball and laying the ball down for his captain. He had to wait for his chance, but he took it with the clinical authority you would expect from one of the best strikers in the world.
