Tottenham have made an offer for Como star Martin Baturina, according to the latest transfer information from Italian journalist Matteo Moretto.

The highly-rated Croatian playmaker has emerged as North London’s top summer target, but they will have to overcome a huge financial tug-of-war to secure his signature.

Tottenham sign Martin Baturina

Mollet revealed on YouTube that Tottenham have contacted Como to gather information about the possibility of signing Baturina.

But Spurs aren’t the only ones praising them. European powerhouse Bayern Munich and fellow Premier League side Aston Villa have also made solid offers for the 23-year-old midfielder.

Other reports suggest Spurs have already made a €50 million bid for the player, an offer well below the Italian club’s valuation.

Armed with a contract until 2030 and a historic fourth-place finish in Serie A that secured Champions League qualification, the Italian club has no desire to sell.

They view Baturina as an essential pillar of Cesc Fabregas’ sporting project and have indicated they will only consider selling him if the club meets a staggering €80 million valuation.

Martin Baturina has impressed at the World Cup so far

Baturina’s significant rise in market value is primarily driven by his impressive performances last season, which continue into the ongoing 2026 World Cup.

The young midfielder, who acts as the heartbeat of Croatia’s creativity, took the tournament by storm in the group stage.

Baturina made headlines in Croatia’s Group L match against England, scoring a stunning equalizer to keep his country in contention against one of the competition’s favorites.

He then put in a masterclass performance against Panama, making six successful dribbles and collecting seven fouls. This was a statistical feat not achieved at a World Cup since Diego Maradona against Belgium in 1982 (via Squawka).

With his stock rapidly rising on the world stage, Tottenham will need to act quickly and decisively if they hope to match Como’s lofty offer.
