2026 John Deere Classic Tea Time, TV Coverage, Viewer Guide

After a packed June schedule featuring a major event and two signature events, this week’s John Deere Classic will be a bit of a break for the world’s top athletes (along with the highly anticipated July 4th holiday weekend). Still, there are still quite a few major champions and rising stars looking to earn coveted FedEx Cup points or get back into the championship bracket before the rapidly approaching British Open.

Two-time JDC champion Jordan Spieth headlines the field along with top 25 ranked players Chris Gottharp, Ben Griffin and Jacob Bridgman. Other potential players heading to Illinois include Rickie Fowler, Keegan Bradley, JT Poston and Max Homa. Meanwhile, Jackson Koibun will make his pro debut at TPC Deer Run after a stellar amateur career with a T-23 finish at the US Open at Sinek Hills.

At just over 7,200 yards and with a winning score of around 20 under, this course is an attractive test not only for shorter players who like to handle the ball, but also for players who are desperate to get a lot of birdies.

Defending champion Brian Campbell returns from a playoff win over Emiliano Grillo a year ago. It was Campbell’s second win of 2025, along with the Mexican Open, and he needed a final round 67 to reach 18-under 266. The last professional to defend his title at TPC Deer Run was Steve Stricker, who won three years in a row from 2009 to 2011.
