Liverpool are interested in signing Juventus midfielder Kefren Thuram in the summer transfer window.

According to a report in Tuttosport, the player’s transfer fee could be around 50 million euros, with Liverpool facing competition from Manchester United. Juventus are already considering Franck Kessie as his replacement.

The 25-year-old midfielder has performed very well in Italy and could be an interesting signing for Liverpool. They need more control, composure and defense in the middle of the park. Thuram has been hailed as “extraordinary” in the past.

The 25-year-old is a hard-working player who will add even more creativity, drive and physicality in the middle of the park. The opportunity to play for Liverpool will be exciting for him. They are one of the biggest clubs in the world and can also offer him Champions League football.

Meanwhile, Manchester United are monitoring his situation closely. They need more quality in central midfield and the France international has the quality to help the team improve. He could be an interesting acquisition for both teams. It remains to be seen whether they are prepared to pay 50 million euros (approximately 4.3 billion yen) for the France international. He is only 25 years old and could justify an investment in the near future.

The Juventus midfielder contributed nine goals in all competitions last season and has the qualities to develop into a complete central midfielder with the right coaching. Playing regular football in England could help him develop further. Liverpool and Manchester United have been successful in developing players over the years and they will help him realize his potential.

Both clubs certainly have the financial resources to pay €50 million for the player, so it remains to be seen what decision they will make.
