Christos Tzoris is one of the most interesting transfer candidates on the summer market and today Team Talk has provided an update on his future.
After spending several years bouncing around Europe’s lower leagues, he was picked by Club Brugge’s brilliant scouts and exploded into action in Belgium.
Arsenal keen on attacker who won Belgian league
According to reports today, Arsenal see Tzoris as a “real target” following the departure of Leandro Trossard, with the Gunners also said to be open to making an offer for fellow left-wing option Gabriel Martinelli.
Brugge are aiming to break the Belgian league’s sales record of 37.5 million euros. That’s pretty cheap for a player who has scored an insane number of goals and assists and performed well in the Champions League.
The 24-year-old is ready to be tested in the top flight and the Gunners are currently the frontrunners to sign him. However, there is still time for other teams to join, and it will be interesting to see how high that fee actually goes.
In other news…
Liverpool are keen to sign Bradley Barcola this summer, but the price PSG are asking for him is pretty crazy and there are big questions as to whether the Reds will pay it.
There is an experienced midfielder in the summer transfer window, with at least a Premier League side showing an interest in him.
