The deal has been in the spotlight in recent days, with Adeyemi flashing during his time at Dortmund and it looks like he could be a smart addition to Barça’s attack.
This comes alongside reports that Ferran Torres is in the final year of his contract and could leave Barcelona for around €35 million, with Adeyemi’s arrival serving as a replacement for the Spain international…
Adeyemi looks like a good signing for Hansi Flick’s side. The 24-year-old finished the 2025/26 season with 10 goals and six assists.

Adeyemi’s transfer fee appears to be set at just 29 million euros in total, but if Barcelona can make around 35 million euros from selling Torres, it would certainly be a smart business overall.
Still, Torres is a solid and reliable player for Barça, and there is no guarantee that the German international will be a huge upgrade.

However, Adeyemi is young, and with other players developing under Flick at the Camp Nou, he may be able to improve further in the future.
