Curtis Jones is close to being sent off.
Nottingham Forest are close to reaching an agreement with Liverpool, with Inter Milan set to miss out on the 25-year-old central midfielder, CDS reports via FC Inter News.
Jones has struggled to get regular minutes at Liverpool and needs to play more often at this stage of his career. Leaving his boyhood club may be ideal for him.
Nottingham Forest will be able to provide him with regular opportunities and help him develop further and reach his potential. The 25-year-old has been a great player whenever he has been called upon for Liverpool. He has the technical characteristics to compete at a high level and could become a star for Nottingham Forest.
He will not only bring control and composure to the team, but will also add a new dimension to Nottingham Forest’s midfield with his technical ability, versatility and resistance to pressing.

Liverpool will need a replacement for Jones
It remains to be seen whether Liverpool will be able to recoup a significant amount of money from his departure. We need more quality in the middle of the park. Ideally, they should invest in a few midfielders before the window closes. They need to sign a quality central midfielder and a reliable defensive midfielder.
Meanwhile, Jones wants to decide on his future quickly and focus on his football. He is good enough to be a regular starter in the Premier League and would be keen to prove his quality at Nottingham Forest if a move were to materialize.
