Manchester United are considering signing Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Joao Gomez in the summer transfer window.
According to Football Insider, the 25-year-old is set to be signed for £30 million. The Brazilian wants to leave Wolves after being relegated and the opportunity to play for Manchester United will be hard for him to turn down.

Manchester United could use Joao Gomez
Manchester United need more quality and control in the center of the park and Gomez could be a great option for them at an affordable price. He has impressed despite his links with Wolves and has the qualities to play for a bigger club. He will add control, composure and physicality to Manchester United’s center of the park.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are also interested in signing the Brazilian midfielder. It will be interesting to see whether both clubs are prepared to pay his asking price of £30m. They have the resources to get a deal done and the demands are pretty reasonable for a player of his experience and quality. He is firmly established in the Premier League and could make an immediate impact.

Gomez is considering a move
The midfielder will be keen to sort out his future quickly and join a big club before the start of the new season. Manchester United and Liverpool could offer him Champions League football next campaign. He will be hoping that one of the two clubs will make him an acceptable offer in the coming weeks.
Both teams are struggling in the center of the park and need to sign quality midfielders before the start of the new season. Manchester United have already signed Andrej Santos and Youri Tielemans, but Liverpool are yet to address their midfield problems.
