The PGA Tour’s regular season is entering a long stretch with three events remaining before the start of the FedEx Cup Playoffs. The first of these closing events is the PGA Tour’s annual 3M Open at TPC Twin Cities in Minnesota. There was a lot of excitement this year with world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler pledging to compete for the first time in his career.
Scheffler hasn’t won on the PGA Tour since the start of the year at the American Express in late January, so he’s hoping to break a winless drought. The world No. 1 will lead a field that includes Hideki Matsuyama, Sung-jae Im, Max Homa, Tom Kim, Gary Woodland, Jackson Koibun and Maverick McNeely, all of whom will be jockeys vying for a spot in the FedExCup standings.

The final three events of the regular season present important opportunities for players looking to establish themselves in the playoffs, and nearly everyone hovering around the top 70 in the rankings will feel pressure to perform over the next three weeks to earn a ticket to Memphis.
