Arsenal are pursuing an ambitious signing for Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior as Mikel Arteta looks for another elite attacker to transform his frontline.

The idea is believed to have been approved at all levels within Arsenal, suggesting it is not an unrealistic proposal.
However, the Gunners are waiting to see how negotiations over a new contract develop with Madrid before deciding whether a serious approach is possible.
