Marcus Rashford’s time at Barcelona appears to be over following the Manchester United forward’s latest post on Instagram.
The England international enjoyed a successful loan spell at Barça last season, but the club appear to have decided against keeping him.

For a while, it looked like Barcelona could try to make Rashford’s move permanent, or at least extend his loan stay, but neither materialized.
See below. Rashford bid farewell to the Catalan giants, saying: “I am very grateful to everyone at the club who made my time here such a positive and memorable experience. I have enjoyed every moment and will take home many special memories. I wish the club and all its supporters good luck and success in the upcoming season. Vizca El Barça”
Rashford now has to make a big decision about his future, as it is probably hard to see him staying at Old Trafford after everything that has happened over the past few years.
The 28-year-old struggled to find his best form in his last year and a half with the Red Devils’ first team, but showed signs of finding new motivation and purpose when he moved on loan to Barcelona.
This change of scene appears to have been good for Rashford, but it remains to be seen whether he will be able to perform at his best level again if he returns to United.

Rashford is a great player on this day, but at the moment it remains to be seen whether he is a good fit for what Michael Carrick is trying to build.
While it may be a good thing for United’s new manager to try to bring Rashford back, it could also be in everyone’s best interests for the club and player to go their separate ways.
But for now, it’s unclear whether anyone will actually have a strong interest in Rashford, so he may end up staying anyway.
