Kimi Antonelli secured seventh place but had dropped positions in recent races. Oliver Bearman qualified eighth for Haas but will serve a 10-place grid penalty due to a red flag violation in practice. Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso and Alpine’s Pierre Gasly rounded out the top ten.

Carlos Sainz narrowly missed out on reaching Q3 for Williams, with Red Bull’s Yuki Tsunoda in 12th. Isack Hadjar was 13th, followed by Williams’ Alex Albon and Haas’ Esteban Ocon. Liam Lawson placed 16th, while Sauber teammates Gabriel Bortoleto and Nico Hülkenberg were 17th and 19th, separated by Aston Martin’s Lance Stroll in 18th. Franco Colapinto struggled, spinning and crashing in the final corner to finish last.

Fan Take: This qualifying session highlights the fierce competition among top teams and promising talent, promising an electrifying race ahead. Verstappen’s pole position sets the stage for a thrilling battle, keeping racing fans eagerly anticipating how these rivalries will unfold on race day.
