According to Fabrizio Romano, discussions between Arsenal and RB Leipzig regarding proposals have advanced to a more serious level.

The Gunners’ disappointment in not winning any trophies during the 2024/25 season has largely been attributed to a lack of traditional strikers, as both Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus faced injuries throughout the year. The 22-year-old Slovenian international scored 21 goals and assisted six more in 44 appearances across all competitions for Leipzig during the 2024/25 season, and his height of 6’4” makes him a formidable presence. Having signed a five-year deal last year, he could be a more affordable option as well.
