According to TBR Football, Arsenal is preparing a summer recruitment drive with prioritization of RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesco, while simultaneously exploring discussions with sports CP camp via Victor’s gyoker.
Arsenal’s interest in Sesco has been intensifying, with negotiations reportedly underway.
The 22-year-old Slovenian increased production in the Bundesliga, finishing the season with 21 goals and six assists in all competitions.
Although RB Leipzig initially demanded in the 80 million euro region, the club remains open to structured payments, and Sesko is believed to prefer movement within Europe over a potentially destructive relocation to the Middle East.
Arsenal is about to sign a new striker this summer
Mikel Arteta’s side, who scored just 69 league goals last season, is looking at Sesco as a player who can solve goalscoring problems next season.
It was due to a fatal lack of goal scorers that Gunner failed to win the Premier League title, finishing second in the third season.
Despite the rise in Sesko’s profile, Arsenal is also engaged in dialogue with representatives of Gyoker.
TBR Football’s Graeme Bailey has provided the latest update on Arsenal’s pursuit of a new striker.
“Sesco knows Arsenal is still in talks with Gyoker. It’s true that the gunners have discussed the sports CP striker.” Bailey told TBR Football.
“Arsenal has never cancelled the meeting, but obviously, and as we know, they’ve made even more progress as they have and are talking to Leipzig, but they haven’t spoken to sports yet.
“Yeah, they spoke to the Gjoker camp today and are said to have spoken to Leipzig.
The Swedish striker has taken sensational form to sport Lisbon, scoring 54 goals last season, earning some of the most notable numbers of Europe’s biggest clubs.
Arteta has two impressive options on his list
Both Sesko and Gyoker add a goalscoring threat to their Arsenal attack.
Gabriel Jesus and Kai Herberts are important players, but their goalscoring numbers aren’t as impressive as the players gunners are targeting.
Sesko is a young attacker, and could get even better while having Gyoker’s experience and performing more consistently.
Arteta faces difficult decisions this summer, but signing both will make his team’s offense stronger next season, offering a different dimension.
The gunners are also linked to the movement of Nottingham Forest winger Anthony Elanga.
