If there’s one thing you can guarantee during the transfer period, it’s that Chelsea is busy.

Last week, Bruce confirmed both signatures of Joan Pedro, who arrived from Brighton with a reported £50 million reporting fee, and Jamie Gittens, who joined for about £48.5 million from Borussia Dortmund.

On the pitch, Enzo Maresca’s team has now reached the semi-finals of the Club World Cup and is preparing to face Fulminence at East Rutherford on Tuesday, thereby taking on either Paris Saint-Germain or Real Madrid in Sunday’s final at Matlife Stadium.

Despite everything, including recruiting five attackers, Guardian Jacob Steinberg points out that Chelsea has an ongoing interest in Mohammed Kudus.

He said Tottenham Hotspur has made a £50 million offer rejected by West Ham United and the Irons are hoping for a bigger bid from Chelsea.

Elsewhere, ESPN’s James Olley points out that the Ghanaian deal includes a £805 million release clause, but Hammer can let him go at a lower fee.”

So is he ready to trade East London for the West?

How Mohamed Kudus improves Chelsea

Kudus joined West Ham from Ajax, scoring 19 goals at a £37 million fee reported two summers ago, providing 13 assists in the club’s 80 appearances.

These numbers may not jump out of the page, but journalist Ibrahim Sunny Darla believes he is a “superstar”, while data analyst Ben Matinson has labelled him a “explosive and skilled player” who could become a “world-class winger.”

Among his both campaigns in the Premier League, Kudus has led the division from the perspective of take-on attempted viewpoint, according to Fbref.com, with this stunning solo goal against Freiburg in the Europa League and this stunning solo goal, the best illustration of his talent.

So are Ghanaians more talent than the Giten, who have just arrived recently? Now let’s compare the duo to answer this question.

Starting in 2023/24, Kudus certainly came to the top, scoring 18 goals and supplying 10 assists in all competitions with two goals and eight assists for Gittens.

Many of Gittens’ statistics are more impressive than Kudus, but the context is certainly important.

The British finished fourth in the Bundesliga, reaching the Champions League quarterfinals, winning 29 matches in all competitions, with West Ham taking a disastrous 12 wins, 14th place and scoring just 46 league goals.

Considering all that, Kudos’ numbers are actually incredible. He was generally doing his business on a scary team, so BBC Sports’ James Jones describes his shapes in claret and blue as “super” and “electric.” It’s important to state that he was already doing it in the Premier League. In other words, the adaptation period will certainly be smaller than Gitens.

So, at age 24, the Ghanaian is ready to take the next step in his career, so does he seem to look endlessly at the offensive difference maker Chelsea?
