Chelsea pulled off a surprising victory on Sunday night, dominating European champions PSG with a stunning 3-0 win in New Jersey, paving their way to the Club World Cup.

Managed by Enzo Maresca, who led the team to triumph in the European Congress League in May, Chelsea is now filled with expectations as they prepare for the upcoming 2025/26 season starting next month.

During the ongoing summer transfer window, Chelsea remains active, with many considering them a formidable challenger to Premier League titleholders Liverpool.

While new signing Joan Pedro has made an impressive start since his transfer from Brighton earlier this month, Maresca is also concentrating on streamlining his squad.

England international Noni Maduce is expected to finalize a permanent move across London soon, and several top players from Chelsea may find themselves leaving Stamford Bridge.

Nicholas Jackson

Jackson recently extended his contract with Chelsea for two more years, locking him in until 2033, yet the Senegalese forward looks set to exit West London.

Despite scoring only once domestically since December, he did net a goal in Chelsea’s decisive victory over Real Betis on May 28th.

With another striker, Liam Dellup, joining the team for £30 million, Jackson’s position has rapidly changed, especially after Pedro’s stunning performance in the U.S.

After receiving a red card against Flamengo on June 20th, Jackson, who was an unused substitute against PSG, seems to recognize that a move away from Stamford Bridge is imminent.

While his time at Chelsea has often been criticized, Jackson now attracts serious interest from elite European clubs.

With Nuni Maduke moving to Arsenal, he could be the next to embark on a new journey.

Christopher Nkunku

Few anticipated that Christopher Nkunku would take on such an active role during his Club World Cup experience, making a late appearance from the bench on Sunday night.

The former RB Leipzig star has been featured in Chelsea’s last five summer matches in the U.S., yet rumors persist that he will soon secure a permanent exit from West London.

Having missed Chelsea’s final eight matches in all competitions last season, Nkunku scored three times in the Premier League but struggled to find his place at the club.

Despite a standout summer, he has reportedly expressed a desire to begin his career anew outside of the capital.

Chelsea has rekindled its interest in Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho, indicating they might include Nkunku in any potential deal.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall quickly followed his former Leicester manager to Chelsea in a £30 million deal last summer, but the 26-year-old soon faded into the background at Stamford Bridge.

Having played only sparingly last season, it seems Maresca has not included him in next season’s plans, leaving Dewsbury-Hall at a critical juncture in his career.

After rejecting a move to Brighton last summer, he now faces the prospect of finding a new opportunity outside of the capital.

Maresca has publicly acknowledged Dewsbury-Hall’s dissatisfaction with his limited playing time and is reportedly open to his first loan move.

Chelsea recognizes that recouping the full £30 million spent last year will be challenging, but it seems inevitable that Dewsbury-Hall will depart Stamford Bridge.

🚨🔵Maresca: “Unfortunately, I can’t say that Dewsbury-Hall is not on sale.”

**Fan Take:** This news is crucial for soccer enthusiasts as it highlights Chelsea’s ongoing transformation and strategic decisions in the transfer market. The potential exits of key players like Jackson and Nkunku could reshape the dynamics of the Premier League, adding excitement and unpredictability to the next season.
