Manchester United are interested in signing Belgian goalkeeper Sen Ranmen in Antwerp.

Andre Onana has been on the sidelines with a hamstring injury for weeks, and Manchester United need deeper depth in the goalkeeping division. According to a report from Talksport, the 23-year-old goalkeeper has been identified as a target. He is reportedly valued at £17 million, and it remains to be seen whether Manchester United will be able to make the deal.

The report claims Manchester United is ready to step up its efforts to get the deal done. They are one of the largest clubs in the world and the opportunity to join them is extremely exciting for goalkeepers.

Lammens has previously responded to his links with Manchester United.

“When I first heard it, I thought, ‘Amazing,'” Ranmen said.

“A world (famous) team that follows you right away. It’s special.

“Of course I also talked about it a lot. When I made a save in training, it united this, (from a colleague) that is positive.

“Especially because it is the best competition in the world, and my profile, my height and how I play are similar to British football.

“You have to physically hold yourself there and that’s right for me.”

Onana was extremely overwhelming for Manchester United last season, and his errors cost him valuable points on his part. Runmen certainly fantasizes their chance to hold back the usual starting spot at Manchester United.

The 23-year-old has received high praise in Europe and he is a promising young player. He is looking to establish himself as a key player in the Premier League. British regular football was able to bring out the best of him and help him improve.

The reported asking price is also fairly reasonable for his potential players. Belgians could prove to be a bargain acquisition in the long run.

Manchester United hasn’t been the best of their recent season. They will consistently fight for the trophy. They need quality players and they need to insert weaknesses on their side. Quality goalkeepers could make a big difference for them next season.
