  • Is Newcastle United working to sign Sesco to replace Isaac?
  • Man United also needs Sesco

As Newcastle United bid for RB Leipzig striker, David Ornstein provided an update on Benjamin Sesco’s transfer status.

Slovenian International has yet to decide his future. Manchester United also said he is in the race for his signature in Ornstein’s report for the athletics.

Ornstein says Newcastle has submitted a package worth 80 million euros to Sesco.

However, they also claimed that Sesco already appears to have chosen Newcastle over United, which is not current information for Ornstein.

This probably gives hope that United can lure a 22-year-old into Old Trafford.

Newcastle’s bid for Sesco certainly means they are prepared for the possibility that star striker Alexander Isaac will leave St. James Park.

According to BBC Sport, Sweden International is eligible for bids from Liverpool.

That BBC report suggests that it is unlikely that Liverpool will continue to pursue Isaac. Isaac may be too expensive, but it could probably change if Sesco was brought into the Magpie.

Isak is not easy to trade, but Sesko is a top young talent who can go in some way to help rebuild this team.

Man United also needs Sesco

Sesko may be ideal for something that suits United’s needs, but it remains to be seen if they will still be able to close this deal.

Newcastle offers Champions League football, but the Red Devils are not participating in European competition next season.

It could make Newcastle even more attractive to Sesco, but United really need a signature like this to get back to where they want it.
